Just lowered the opening for the last time. There has to be a serious musician who can appreciate this limited-run guitar as an investment and very cool guitar. An internet search only finds one other guitar exactly like this one, it is a 2011 on Reverb and the seller is currently asking almost $4700 for it. Hence, we have a 2012 Gibson Les Paul Classic Custom Gold top with chrome hardware. Custom headstock, rectangular mother of pearl inlays, gold top with chrome hardware that wont rub off. All of the original items in the case with sale note from original owner, who had the guitar less than a year. Hence, I have owned for ten years and only played it at a few praise services. there is one small dent on the back edge, some fret wear on the lower frets. I included images of the beautiful wood grain of the back of the guitar; one image shows the small dent while another one with slightly different lighting shows how small it is. Hence in Mint- condition. Included is the Franklin guitar strap shown and the strap locks. My estimate is that it weighs approximately 10.5 pounds using my digital scale with me holding the guitar, then weighing without and subtracting the difference, that would include the strap, just to be accurate as possible.

Please ask about any concerns you may have about this instrument. As the pics show, we have the original shipping box with matching serial numbers which adds value to the guitar. Absolute second owner. Never been in a smoking environment. Will only ship Fed Ex because of the weight and value. Original black case is also shown. All pictures are intended to show the guitar in its actual condition, close to mint. Absolutely no international shipping. No returns unless the item in misrepresented, look at the pics. We also reserve the right to refuse sale to a buyer with negative feedback. This is an extremely rare instrument in this condition and with everything included. Thanks.

The LP "Classic Custom," is based on the LP Custom, without the back body binding.

It is NO longer in production. Was a "limited production edition," at it's inception.

Came "stock" with Classic '57 pickups, and Chrome hardware, with acrylic neck

position markers, and headstock inlays, and "baked maple" fingerboard. Hence,

the considerable price difference, to the LP Custom. It IS, however, and outstanding

guitar, all the way around!

Solid combination of tonewoods

The Les Paul Classic Custom features a combination of tonewoods that's set the bar for rock guitars- and for good reason! The tried-and-true combination of a genuine mahogany body topped with beautiful carved maple practically define the Gibson Les Paul. You can count on the Les Paul Classic Custom to deliver the rich and tone with a well-balanced top end you crave.

Baked maple fretboard looks sharp and adds spank

Here's something you don't see every day, a baked maple fretboard. Why does Gibson use baked maple? The answer's simple. Baking removes the water from the Les Paul Classic Custom's maple fretboard, adding a snappier attack to its natural spank. What's more, baked maple is both environmentally friendly and it gives the Les Paul Classic Custom a cool, original look.

Perfect pair of PAF-style pickups

Nothing beats the sound of classic PAF humbuckers like the ones found on the Les Paul Classic Custom. That's why Gibson brought back the original PAF sound, when they created their '57 Classic humbucker, which perfectly capture the sound of the original dual-coil model. Warm, full, and beautifully balanced, these amazing pickups give the Les Paul Classic Custom that instantly recognizable Les Paul sound.
