Historic Vintage 48-star US flag - used in USA from 1912-1949 (through World War I and World War II).   

Sewn stripes and stars.  Metal grommets.  

Loose weave fabric (linen?) is semi-translucent when backlit. Overall has classic patina from the period.

Slight fraying and small holes due to years of proud usage, as shown in photos.
