RARE Vintage Halliburton Attache Briefcase Case Early Model Aluminum Case.
Vintage 1940s large metal Halliburton suitcase measures 7.25 inches deep high 21 inches wide by 17.5 inches tall. Classic style in great working condition. Handle is sturdy. Interior is clean. Some scrapes and scratches on the exterior, due to its age. But in overall in great vintage condition. Label near the handle reads: "Halliburton, Des. Pat. 123,075, Los Angles." That design patent was applied for in 1939 for a period of 14 years. So this dates the suitcase to around the 1940s. A KLM Royal Dutch Airlines sticker is near the handle, with the passenger name and address information. Could easily be removed if desired. This was only cleaned with a dry cloth.
One of the earliest Halliburton models you can find. Looks like late 1930's to early 1940s from the style of the case.
