This is a discontinued part since 2020 and I happened to have  bought this part for my Chevy avalanche however I was unable to install it  because of  an unlicensed driver decided to hit and total my vehicle. This part cannot be ordered and from what the parts person told me no dealer in the United States has this part. This part goes in rear top compartment on the driver side and is the hinge for the LEFT side top compartment. The problem with these hinges is that the cable gets old and brittle and breaks apart. My part is brand new however it is out of its original packaging. This part should fit Chevy Avalanche and Cadillac Escalade second generation 2008 to 2013 but as always please do your own research.
