Fresh pull. Philips 212 turntable - Dust Cover Only

NOTE: Dust Cover Only (friction hinge model)
I'll list the hinges on their own. Or they would just get thrown if not needed.

I just got around to this one. I was told it has sat in it's original box, in a closet for decades. That means it has seen little UV exposure, wonderful. This dust cover will still need a wash and hand polish if you like mint.

if you need more parts...
Testing: The platter was stored underneath so I can see the original belt is dissolved from age. I have an assortment of testing belts so I did power it up. All of the capacitive touch controls and lights work good. Speed is right on. It played/ sounded better than I would have guessed. BUT the tonearm.. seems a little loose, nothing that effected the play, but when handling it, it just feels a bit off. And upon inspection, the stylus was not that great. So I'm going to part out this one.

This has a high-end SHURE cartridge so I'll pair that up with a new stylus and list it with the Headshell.  So if you need more parts see my other listings. Hinges, all of the electronics and motor with the touch capacitive etc.

See all photos. This has the friction hinges (1973-1976). Read below.

Philips 212 turntable (1971 - 1976, check your hinges)
Early models had simple plastic hinges, these were later replaced with friction hinges, and the dust cover rest was removed.
Early models had a power cord socket, but it was replaced with a fixed cable.
