 PS1 SCPH-5500 console from Japan, brand new and never used. The box has some small damage but its a brand new item. The emblem on the console is when the console originally was bought at a Tobu Mall in Japan back at release, as a gift for someone. Everything inside is brand new with the green tape proving its new. There currently is no other truly new SCPH 5500 on eBay!

**After checking alot we are starting to suspect that we are more or less the only shop selling real new japanese PS1 consoles that have the green tape (if the green tape isn't on the lid, it is not new), so be careful of all the fake listings... Happy safe shopping with us!**

 There is no "seal on the box"-culture in Japan like in the west, so no Japanese items have seals on the boxes even if they are new. 

 Customs duty / import taxes are the buyer's own responsibility. Please follow the import laws of your country.
 Before purchasing please make sure if / how this item will work in your country with region & language restrictions. These are japanese collectors items originally released in Japan.
 New items can't be returned as they are untested to keep the collectors value as high as possible, not even if they turn out to have manufacturing errors. Please buy at your own risk and repair yourself if its needed.
