British Napoleonic Scots Greys bearskin cap (Sergeant Ewart Waterloo 1815)

Very fine hand worked full size reproduction, superb display piece, 100% bear friendly. This black bear fur is made from super fine couturier fashion faux fur nearest I can get to bear belly fur.

Dimensions as original in the national army museum, Chelsea. Front plate copper silver plated with standard 25 drilled holes at base of plate. Front plate hand engraved gilding metal with great war origional royal cyther badge. Gold wire cap lines (sergeant) with white feather plume on left hand side. Red cloth rear patch with white horse of hanover (enbrodered) hand made chin scales with rose mounts. Leather peak lined in green, leather liner with draw string tie.

Size 59 cm head size made to fit standard display head with wig underneath. 15" tall with plume and weight 900g
