This alto saxophone was made around 1930 by the De Prins Brothers; Karel, Gust, and Louis. Their workshop was founded in 1901 in Borgerhout (Antwerp) by Petrus De Prins. The engraving on the bell says "De Prins Brothers Official Suppliers to the Army and Congregations Borgerhout Antwerp Belgium". They exhibited their instruments at the the Anvers, Belgium Exposition in 1930, which is referenced also on the bell. The sax has had some work done to it with mostly new pads, corks and dampers. The upper keys are mostly working, but it needs some work to get it playing properly. Hence the listing saying not working. It comes in a more modern hard case, together with a modern mouth piece and strap. Also included is the original mouth piece.

Note that two of the keys have had pearl button replacements.
