Here I have for sale a William Moorcroft  jug, decorated in the Leaf and Berry design, circa 1926.
The jug stands 8 inches in height, and measures, approximately, 18 inches around its widest point, not including the handle.
The top rim measures 5 inches in diameter, not including the spout, and it measures 4.5 inches across the base.
The jug is decorated very well, with good colours and precise tubelining, all on a good Cobalt ground.
The jug is in good condition, there are a couple of old hairline cracks to the top rim, as pictured, one travels around 1cm to the inside and outside, the other travels around 1cm to the outside and does not travel inside and is only present on the top rim, an easy job for a restorer, or they could be left, the cracks look old and stable and they do not affect the display qualities of the piece, it displays very well.
Apart from the above mentioned, there is nothing else to note, and no other damage or restoration, guaranteed.
Any white marks or other are either camera glare or under glaze.
Who ever buys this jug will not be disappointed and it would make a great addition to any collection.
Will post within 2 working days of cleared payment.
International buyers please contact me for shipping costs.
Any International buyers that are having difficulty making an offer on this piece, please let me know and I will sort out the problem.
Any questions feel free to ask.
