Variax 700 in really nice conditon. Made in Japan at the Fujigen factory where the top end Ibanez guitars are made. The Variax 700 was top-of-the-range before the James Tyler Variaxes - its a beautifully crafted guitar which is a joy to play.

If you are looking at this you probably know about Variaxes - the modelling guitar with all the different guitar sounds built-in. Some years since they first came out but still pretty amazing technology - flick from Les Paul to 335 to Strat to Tele to Danelectro & loads of others - banjo & sitar too. The neck is really nice to play - Gibson width & fairly slim depth - very comfortable. This guitar has been well looked after and is in really nice condition - very glossy black. No dinks or damage - just a few very fine surface marks on the back - and a tiny one next to the tone control. Very minor fretwear. The electronics are 100% working ok - sounds great. Recently restrung with D'Addario 10s - set up with a nice comfortable low action & the bridge is set to fully floating for the tremolo arm. Comes complete with the mains power supply & switch box & stereo power cable - and the original sturdy gig bag in excellent condition.
