The book is in very good condition - still being still compact, square and with tight binding, with only a few sign of its age. The covers are still a strong yellow but have some marking and shelf wear to the extremities. All consummate with age.

The spine is in also in very good condition with the yellow colour and black titles still prominent. There is some marking and shelf wear to the edges.

Inside, the book is clean with white pages without any marks or inscriptions. There is some browning to the inside pages and to the tet block edge. Please do check photos for exact condition.

The dust jacket is a new, high quality facsimile of the first impression dust jacket published by Jonathan Cape in 1958. Printed on 170gsm paper, it presents the book extremely well.
