This auction is for nine collectible like-new condition blank greeting cards from AFI (the American Film Institute). I don't remember how long ago I got these, but I think they may have been a membership promotion, possibly from as far back as the 1980s. (There are no copyright dates anywhere on the cards.) A possible clue as to how "vintage" they are: The text on the back of one of them contains a very dated reference to the TV series "Fridays," which was ABC's short-lived (1980-1982) copy of NBC's "Saturday Night Live." I found all of them stored away in a box before I made a recent cross-country move. Each card measures six inches by 4.5 inches, with a black and white image from a classic movie on the front, blank inside, and text about the movie printed on the back.
