This is an EXTREMELY RARE vintage, Showa-era glass penguin Kikkoman soy sauce bottle. I believe this dates to the 1960s or 1970s, but it could be as early as the late 1950s. I tried to find another bottle like this online but aside from some old auction listings which are behind a subscription paywall, I can only confirm that these are vintage, exceedingly rare, and seldom come up for sale.  This bottle is designed so that the soy sauce comes out of the penguin's beak when poured. Adorable.

Dimensions:

About 4.75" tall

Condition:

Botte has no chips or cracks and interior is clean. Plastic cap has one small hairline crack near the edge (see picture), but remains secure when screwed on and does not allow leakage while pouring. Some soy staining and discoloration on the rubber gasket/cap liner.

Thanks for looking!
