Plate measures 7-3/4" across. Original Fenton sticker on the front of plate. Beautiful Fenton 1972 Mother's Day Madonna of the Goldfinch collector plate. Front of plate shows Madonna with child and reads: Mother's Day 1972. Back of plate reads: Fenton Commemorating Mother's Day with a reproduction of... "Madonna of the Goldfinch" painted in about 1760 by Giovanni Battista Tiepolo, the last great master of the Venetian school of painting. No. 2 in the annual series of Mother's Day Plates by Fenton 1972. Good condition, no cracks or chips.
