Description
This is a pair of stunning glazed turquoise antique Chinese vases with repousse five toe dragons decorating the front and back of each vase. The vases are a wonderfuuly intense turquoise blue. The shading of the blue makes the dragon figures stand out. These vases are marked China on the bottom (with 2 additional Chinese characters also on one)as many early 20th century pieces are.
The approximate dimensions of each vase are:
Height: 10.5 inches ( 26.67 cm)
Width: 5.5 inches ( 14 cm)
Diameter of the base: 2.75 inches ( 7 cm)
Weight of each vase: 21.5 ounces ( 610 grams)
In the photos you will notice that there is some light chipping around the base. It cannot be seen when the vases sit on a surface.
