This is a pretty unusual old AM Tube Radio dating to before WW2.  It is a utilitarian and heavy-duty piece that was part of the standard equipment in a CITIES SERVICE automotive gas station back in the day.  The radio measures 11.5" by 7" by 6".  Thick steel case with the old "industrial green" paint still there with some loss and surface rust as shown.  The radio works and does receive local AM stations with decent sound.  I believe it is both an AM and a Shortwave Band of some sort, maybe police.  Lighted dial works.  Replaced cord/plug.  Has a single antenna wire out the back that can be hooked to a longer wire to enhance reception.  You don't see many of these around so I'm guessing not many survived the daily life in a service station.  Neat piece of petroleum history. Guaranteed to please the new owner or I'll buy it back.  Check my Feedback.
