Heats quickly to 360 degrees.  Temperature can be increased by using the + button in stages up to 410 degrees to accommodate all types of hair.

The Manufacturer suggests using 360 degrees for Fine Hair, 390 degrees for medium hair and 410 degrees for coarse hair.

The black storage bag is lined with insulating material.  The outside of the case shows some signs of wear.

Overall, the iron is in very good condition.
