Two (2) Studio Monitors from Roland, made in Japan.
These are legendary and very heavy, and very amplified studio monitors in beige. You can change the bass, and treble and channels separately. This is all done in analog, you can connect left and right channels into the same monitor and it will play both channels as if it were a mono track - They have three 1/4 inch inputs per speaker and the inputs will be combined seamlessly.
These monitors are very heavy because they are shielded, and were meant to be used around a CRT monitor without the speakers affecting it with its large magnetic drivers.
The sound quality is very good and it can get very loud, each speaker is separately powered by its own plugs. Unlike the MA-12C speakers from Japan, these come with standard North American plugs and voltages. The knobs and the LED still work properly, the speakers didn't see much use after it was decommissioned from a studio in the early 2000's.
A 3.5mm stereo that splits into 1/4 inch Left/Right jacks will be included with the monitors. This cable is often left out from other eBay listings for this monitor and is required to use the monitors.
