Gateway classic cars of Nashville is pleased to digitally present to you this 1982 Chevrolet Camaro Berlinetta. When you think pro street, this is the car that should come to mind. To me a Pro Street car is one that you could drive everyday if you can live with the fuel milage but will still cause your friends to roll up in a ball on the passenger side floor board. Trust me, this is amusing at 155MPH. ok, lets talk about the engine. Start with a small block 400 and bore it .040 add a scat crank and rods, dress up the ends of the rods with Wiseco pistons, then snug down a pair of promaxx heads that houses 2.02 intake 1.6 exhaust valves and 200 cc runners. Sprinkle in some Comp Cam roller rockers, a Lunati cam that has a lift of .526 and .547 with duration of 249 and 297. Bolt everything down with ARP bolts. The intake of choice is an Edelbrock Victor Jr. Air gap that is topped off with a Proform 750 double pumping carburetor and a set of Doug's long tube headers. Now attach a well built turbo 350 3 speed automatic with a shift kit to the engine connected by a 2800 stahl converter that slams the power to the Ford 9 inch rear axle housing a spool and 3.9:1 gears set. This 1982 Camaro has subframe connector to stiffen the car and tubular A arms for better handling and lighter weight. Billet specialties rims 15x4 up front and 15x 8 for the rear. All of this was well thought out and planned correctly, these parts work well together and create lots of fun and horsepower. This slick machine is ready to prowl the streets of your hometown, looking for slower cars to feast on. Options for this 1982 Camaro include: AM/FM stereo, CD player, Performance tires, Power locks, steering, brakes and windows, Seat belts, and Tilt steering column. [ omitted ].
