This Vintage Coach Cross Body Bag/Purse in Black Leather with Brown Trim dates to the 1980s, was rarely used, and has been stored in a smoke and pet free home.  It is in excellent used condition, the colors are strong, and there are no noticeable rips, tears, smudges, fading, or other signs of age, usage, or wear--except for some scuffs on the trim leather on the front of the bag just above the brass turn lock and some very slight and light marks on various parts of the strap and elsewhere on the brown leather.  The bag measures about 12” x 8.5” x 3.25” and is hand-made of genuine full-grain leather with a leather-lined flap with brass turn lock, an adjustable strap of about 48 inches, full nylon lining, a leather- and nylon-faced interior separator creating 2 sections the width of the bag, and a zippered pocket almost the width of the bag. The embossed leather Coach Creed Patch stitched to the inside of the bag indicates that the bag was manufactured in the United States and lists the item’s serial number: 0398-223, which identifies it as having been manufactured between 1980 and 1994.  The zipper works fine, all the brass hardware is in very good condition, and the bag has its original leather Coach hang tag and chain.  (Please see all photos.)
