This is a Beautiful & Vintage 1984 Steinberger XL-2 Headless Bass Guitar that's in great shape overall and was maintained extremely well over the years. This guitar isn't new, so there will be minor flaws and signs of play, but nothing I feel would be of significance. There is some discoloration of the black hardware, minor light scratches dings and light playwear. I tried to take really good pics, so you can judge for yourself. There is some fret wear as pictured, but plays beautifully and not in need of attention. There are NO breaks, cracks, repairs or damage and the finish is 100% original. The back of the neck and head stock are in great condition showing only minor flaws. All electronics are in perfect working order and the active EMG's sound absolutely amazing! If your looking for a great looking, playing, sounding and collectible Steinberger Bass in great condition, this would make a great addition to your collection!
If your a player or collector, this guitar is a great piece! The neck has great action with the proper amount of relief, and plays great.. It truly looks, sounds great! Although, I think its set up great, everyone has their own preferences. If your not happy with its set up, it will be your responsibility to have it set up to your liking..
The included Non Original Gig Bag is newer and in excellent condition. Its a perfect fit and will definitely protect the guitar better than the original.
