Vintage 1981 Buffet S1 alto saxophone. These are wonderful horns with an excellent mechanism, excellent intonation and a beautiful sound often preferred by classical musicians. This sax was originally owned by a music teacher in the music school of Paris. It is in excellent condition, pads are as new and the sax performs very well. There's some lacquer wear and some scratches due to age and use. There are few very little nicks around the serial number. Nothing much really, the horn is really really good. The serial number is 32411E and there's an "E" stamp on the neck as well. It is supplied in its original case which shows quite some wear, but is still holding together well and is still functional.
