It is a brass elephant, approx. 2 1/4" x 1 1/2" - balancing a ball on his trunk

He sits on a wooden base - approx. 2 3/4" diameter x 3/4"

Total height is about 4 3/4"

The wooden base is dry and worn.  Definitely needs oil or polish.  The underside of the base looks like it has remnants of glue, like this item was, at one time, attached to another piece.  The elephant is held on the base with two screws.  There is also a tiny hole going through the center of the base.

The elephant is worn and tarnished.  I have not tried to polish it.  The ball unscrews from the elephant.

I don't find any markings.
