An AMPEX 10.5 inch metal reel to reel spool along with  1/4 inch tape , .

The tape has not been played or tested , but did originally come from the estate of a BBC sound engineer .The tape may well be used I estimate  there are about 20 splices in the midst  .The spool is clean and bright with some slight marks  . The  case is a generic cardboard tape box which is both edge rubbed and with edge splits . Writing to the front of the box is not relevant.
