Here is the dearest little antique Victorian bonnet or tilt hat. It reminds me or a Moulin rouge showgirls bonnet or vintage can can dancer from an old time music hall.
Its a bonnet style hat to be worn on the back or the head. There is a silk ribbon bow to tie to keep this darling little hat in place. The body of the hat is the most gorgeous shade of duck egg blue silk velvet. So luxurious to the touch and black velvet trimmed with curled black ostrich feathers , velvet bows and a cut steel and diamonte brooch.(2 stones missimg ).
This stunning bonnet is in super condition considering its age. The rarest of colours for Victorian times  and clean and ready to wear. You can see the wire frame if you look inside the silk lining  along with what remains of the gold printed silk label. I cant read the name but it seems to read Mount st ,Grosvenor square. The inner silk is fragile but the hat itself is divine.
This amazing antique bonnet is just beautiful .The rich velvet contrasts with the black of the curley millinary feathers and hand worked lace trim.
Beautiful addition to any vintage hat collection. Great for stage or theatre costume, museum display or just an exquisite talking point for display in any vintage boudoir. An antique millinary masterpiece.
An absolutly gorgeous antique Victorian hat thats so hard to photograph because of its shape. Please study the pics to see this beautiful hat.
