Adorable 1950s ALPS Rock Valley Toys battery operated bubble blowing monkey. Made in Japan. Has been tested with new D batteries and works. The battery compartment is very clean. The eyes light up, he lowers and lifts arm and head and one can feel air blowing out of his mouth. 10 3/4” tall, 3 1/2” wide and approximately 5” deep. He is made of lithographed tin, mohair fur, fabric and vinyl. In good vintage condition, the lithographed tin is in nice condition without major scratches. He would benefit from a little TLC. The fur on one leg is damaged and it is a little brittle on the right arm due to spilling bubble solution. He is missing his brown plastic bubble bowl. This cutie is sure to bring back childhood memories.
