Wonderful and rare silver plated tea caddy from Israel Freeman England. Rectangular caddy with hinged engraved lid measures app. 3" x 3 1/2" x 4 3/4" tall, and features gadrooned borders, a partially engraved domed hinged lid, and a carved pineapple shaped knob finial. Dating to the first half of the 20th century, the tea caddy is in as found estate condition, with some scuff marks, small indentations, and a fold at one corner of the lid, but with little to no wear to the silver plate. Marked on the bottom with the IFS Limited trademark, and "Made in England", the caddy is a fine addition to a silver collection, and is offered with out reserve.
