Brass Icon Cover: Christ as Infant, Christ at a Tomb?

With angels and prophets, perhaps the sponsor of the work?

This is the brass cover for an icon that is missing.  There are, therefore, no faces on this work.  Faces and hands, as well as other items for  the work would appear on the painted icon to go beneath this cover.

The cover is in very good condition and measures 13 inches by 15 and 3/4 inches.

There is some text, perhaps in Greek, at the base of the icon cover.

The 4th or 5th  picture shown is of the reverse of the cover.
