Harrach Bohemian Enameled Moroccan Ware Islamic Style Green Opaline 10 Inch Bowl
Large
late 19th century Bohemian opaline bowl. The inside / top of the bowl
is a pale green opaline with an absolutely stunning hand enameled
Islamic style design in black and gold gilt with white and red enameled
beading and white, and red, white, and pink enameled flowers with blue
and green scrollwork. The bottom of the bowl is white opaline. Has the
number 7252 on the base in black. Probably made by Harrach or one of the
other Bohemian glass houses from this period.
There are two
large chips to the base rim. Also has some minor wear to the gilding and
enamel, but no other damage. Displays well.
Measures approximately 10 inches wide x 2 7/8 inches tall.
This is an antique and may have small in manufacture defects that do not affect the display of the piece.
