Mervin Jules (1912–1994) was an American artist known for his silk screen prints. Born in Baltimore, Maryland, he faced the challenges of polio, which damaged his legs. Despite this, he persevered, using canes and braces throughout his life. Jules attended Baltimore City College and the Maryland Institute College of Art (MICA). Later, he moved to New York City, where he studied at the Art Students League of New York, learning from notable artists like Thomas Hart Benton.
