TASCAM Porta 07 Ministudio Multitrack 4 Track Cassette Tape Recorder Mixer Fostex Yamaha Vestax Vesta Fire

I’ve modded it with a dual speed half speed switch so It’s capable of playing back normal speed tapes.

the tape speed by default runs at 9.5cm/s but my toggle switch can toggle it down to 4.75cm/s. 

pitch wheel is around 20% in either direction on either speed mode.

ideal for ambient experimental tape loops and hainbach style tape looping.

the rubbery coating hasnt started to go tacky yet but it could benefit with a clean - i have refrained from cleaning it as i do not want to disturb or scratch off the coating - very common flaw in tascam porta 07.
