The blocks appear to have been hand stitched 

Condition:  The fabrics feel and look in original never washed condition. The prints are in great condition, crisp colors no fading, and clean. Most of the natural/solid light cream sections have little faint spots (the bottom photo shows spots), a few have no spots on the solid section
