Another Very Tough decision whether to sell, a Very Beautiful humidor!  The humidor was purchased half full of watches, the last watch has been sold now, and unfortunately the vessel which has held the watches all these years will find a new home.  The humidor & watches were left to the guy I bought them from by his grandfather, then purchased by ourselves at a yard sail in northern Michigan.  The humidor looks from the Art Nouveau period, beautiful fluted glass base, the glass has turned a VERY light shade of purple, amazing there are no chips to the glass, some very light scratches & wear, mostly the bottom.  We have not cleaned this, but needs some.  No weird, musty or tobacco smells inside. The lid is has lots of big dents all the way around lid, scratches, also whatever once the metal was plated with is now mostly gone, nickel? & lots of wear.  The lid looks more WELL LOVED than damaged to us!  The plated loss makes it more beautiful to us, the brass color now mostly shows.  The lid has fancy ribbon or scroll work along with flowers and leaves in repousse, very cool & measures almost 6" tall x 5" at its widest across the bottom.  Lid fits exactly like it should and we believe it to be original ourselves.  Have another idea in mind for the vessel?  We think ours looks much nicer with the smaller lid and not hanging out too far past the glass edge.  We're sure you will be pleased, especially with our starting price, we think below market price!  A holder for marbles, coins, tobacco as intended, cigars or whatever your needs desire.  Pretty heavy for its small size and our pictures didn't turn out very nice, looks nicer in real life.

The items for sale are purchased at yard and estate sails, antique shops and flea markets.

We would like to mention that when we say we will ship your package within 1 or 2 days, that is what really happens. We do not print a shipping label (and mark as shipped) and let the package hang around and we do not send the package to a shipping station where it sits for a day or two, when we mark your package as shipped, it is on the way.  We also want to add one of the rules we buy and sell by, “If we wouldn’t buy it for ourselves for reasons of being overly dirty, covered in cigarette smells or pet hair, or being repaired we will not buy and resell to you”.
