Have you been saving your money and waiting for the right chance to grab a vintage copper bucket?? Your LONG Journey has ended now! We very rarely see these buckets in Northern Michigan, and very rarely get a chance to buy one, but we have recently. This was found in Northern Michigan north of Mio in Amish or Mennonite country at an estate sale and we are very hesitant to sell, but our store comes first. The vintage solid copper bucket and handle looks copper or brass also, mounting brackets are copper, appears to be a utilitarian object and not made for its looks, water bucket possibly? Not a large bucket measuring 8 1/2” tall at the top of the handle mounting, bucket itself 7 1/2” tall x about 8 5/8” across the top. This bucket is amazing and I never realized until writing the ad that there is no seam, this is all made from one piece of copper, this must have taken a lot of skill! Hand made handle mounts applies with solder. This is VERY WELL USED with dents, dings, lots of green deterioration, mostly inside, white paint, spots, not perfectly round anymore, creases, possible BB gun shots, light orange colored areas, wrinkles, wear, dirty as can be and so on, but the look is the Greatest! We can find no holes or sources of any leaks and was just about to put water in in to test and I told myself, “Are You Stupid”? I would have destroyed the look of the inside! The heavy, heavy dirt, built up green stuff and dust would have totally changed its looks. The new owner can choose to do with what they wish, but we think only a little dusting of the bottom inside would be appropriate. So we are NOT guaranteeing this will hold liquids, so please try to find something more suitable if water retention is needed. The lip at the top of the bucket is not rolled over and it is dented, not sharp though. Both mountings are in excellent working order, no issues we found. We have no idea of age, doesn’t appear to be made to deceive, doesn’t have the look of being made overseas, this looks like a real vintage bucket to us possibly made in the U.S., but unsure and would welcome your opinion, please email us. The bottom has the best look, all dented and crinkled, very cool. No names or makers marks we found. The bucket weighs 1 lb. 12 ½ Oz., almost 2 lbs. of solid copper, better than an old tin bucket for your display, old water pump, flower pot holder, vintage kitchen or any of the hundreds of ideas you could come up with for this beauty. After writing this ad and looking it over more closely, now we REALLY HATE SELLING IT, so one of us here at mr.yardsailor may slip a little higher amount on the starting price in hopes it doesn't sell!!  The ad has been finished for half hour and I'm finding it hard to click the "List It" button..
