Vintage Wedge / Sherwood Nautical Hanging Brass Oil Lamp

This beautiful, sturdy and well-built vintage brass oil ship lamp from Wedge / Sherwood BHAM is a
must-have for nautical enthusiasts. This antique brass lamp is of an unknown age and features a
beautiful cylindrical design with octagonal flat plane glass on five sides. Made
in England stamped on the bottom. The lamp is medium-sized with a
6.5-inch diameter and a height of 14 inches tall, or 18.75 inches tall with the
metal handle. The top of the lamp opens up to access the wick area. Manufactured sometime in the 1900s by Wedge (stamped) / Sherwood BHAM (on the circular knob), this original oil lamp is a
true collectible. This lamp was powered by kerosene and may still work although this is completely untested. No sign or scent of fuel in this lamp. The piece has a beautiful
brass/gold color and is in very good condition for it's age and is sure to add a
touch of vintage charm to any maritime themed decor. Check all the photos. This lamp is believed to be all brass as magnets will not stick to any part of the lamp surface. Sold as is.
