Beautiful Strawberries themed small nostalgic wooden hexagon Purse from 1972. Decoupage Strawberries on all outer sides, even the bottom where the artist has signed her initials and dated it. The gold hardware is in very nice shape and the clasp works fine. Black velvet ribbon accents the perimeter. Little 5 pointed stars serve as feet. The background is painted a very pale creamy yellow. Very nice workmanship is throughout.

Surprisingly pretty inside!
The lining is a colorful quilted fabric with green velvet ribbon accenting.

This is a small purse for special occasions or for every day use if you don't need to carry around a lot of stuff. It's perfect for a small wallet, a lipstick, a couple of keys and your hanky.
A cellphone will NOT fit, unless you have an older flip-style phone.

Measurements:
Height: About 4 1/2" from the bottom to the top of the purse's lid
Max width: About 6 1/2" from corner to corner.  Measuring from the flat side to opposite flat side, it is about 5 5/8"
The interior is smaller. Please see the ruler for measurements. (the ruler is not included)

The artist put much love and care into creating this purse from days gone by. It deserves to be used and SEEN! Be prepared to be an attention-getter when walking around town with this purse! It will make people smile!

Thank you.
