Up for sale is an vintage IBM ThinkPad 600X, Type 2645 Laptop.  This laptop has a rare vintage Windows 95 AND Windows 3.1 operating systems installed.  It still works great with a working battery.  Also bundled with an external floppy disk drive (Needed to boot the laptop with DOS and Windows 3.1) and a DOS 6 bootable diskette.  With the floppy drive connected to the laptop, you can boot the laptop with a DOS bootable diskette (included) with a familiar A: prompt. You can then start Windows 3.1. This is your chance to own this legacy IBM 600X laptop with BOTH Win3.1 and Win95 working !

USB Support (Windows 95 only) :

USB Flash drive - All my USB flash drives work (but likely not work with high volume USB flash) 

USB Mouse - It will NOT work under Windows 95 or Windows 3.1 unless you have a USB mouse that comes with a Windows 95 software driver. So you will need a PS/2 mouse if the build-in track point is not good for you.

Software:

Latest Windows 95 OS, and true vintage Windows 3.1.  Vintage applications such as Netscape 4.79 (it was the default browser at that era), IE (Internet Explorer) 5.5 , WinAmp 2.91, Real player 8, Tetris Game, Adobe Reader 4.0, etc.  Note this laptop is NOT suitable for Internet purpose (The supported browsers are too old for modern internet).  So do not buy this for Internet purposes.

Hardware:

This laptop is equipped with an Intel Pentium III 500 Mhz CPU, 4.8 GB hard drive, 192 MB RAM, CDROM, 13.3" LCD, an external floppy disk drive, and a USB port, and It also has a Serial port and a Parallel port, (many older application requires these type of ports), Modem, Mouse port, External VGA ports, etc.  Main holds charge, indicates more than 2 hours (depends on usage), CMOS battery was just replaced, should last for years.  OEM AC Adapter is included.

Cosmetically, this laptop is used with normal wear and tear for the age. The LCD lid top and bottom case have some scratches, marks, and paint losses due the rubberized coating layer and its age.  Overall looks good and clean for a vintage system.  See pictures.
