Beautiful vintage Australian made ceramic lustre ware handled vase. Its thick lustre glistens and shines from every angle in the light. It stands 9 cm high X 19 cm wide X 8 cm deep.

Mingay (also known as Modern Ceramic Products or MCP) was an Australian pottery company that had its origins in 1944. The company expanded during the 1950s & early 1960s, producing some beautifully classic pieces of Australian pottery.

This piece has mid century modern Romanesque styling with wavy rim, fluted drape panels and a raised oval cartouche to its centre, front and rear. It has peaked handles each side. It is thickly covered in a rich glowing pearl opalescent lustre.

It is in excellent original condition with No Chips or Crazing or Damages.
