ES Prussia Royal Vienna Style Neoclassical Green Red Gold Demitasse Cup & Saucer

Very pretty porcelain footed demitasse cup and saucer. Decorated in the Royal Vienna style with a classical scene depicting four Greek or Roman women in the center of the cup. The saucer has a gold gilt medallion in the center. Overall ivory background with green panels with gold gilt floral scrollwork and garland overlay and maroon/red ovals with gold gilt flowers. Gold gilt floral design along the outside of the cup. The cup is marked with a pseudo Royal Vienna beehive/shield mark with a dot. This mark was used by ES Prussia between 1900 and 1938.

Has some wear to the gilding, but otherwise good condition with no chips or cracks.

The cup measures approximately 3 5/8 inches wide including the handle x 1 7/8 inches tall.
The saucer measures approximately 4 1/2 inches wide.

This is an antique and may have small in manufacture defects that do not affect the display of the piece.
