Donath Levinsohn Old Paris Style Gold Rococo Shell Cup & Saucer Circa 1886-1891
Nice
antique relief molded Rococo shell cup and saucer. Decorated with heavy
gold gilding to the outside of the cup and to the top of the saucer.
Marked on the bottom in blue with Rapier swords over an S. This mark was
used by P Donath & Louis Levinsohn / Lowinson in Tiefenfurt,
Silesia between 1886 and 1891. Also marked Germany in red.
Has some wear to the gilding, but otherwise good condition.
The cup measures approximately 4 1/2 inches wide including the handle x 3 1/4 inches tall.
The saucer measures approximately 5 1/2 inches wide.
This is an antique and may have small in manufacture defects that do not affect the display of the piece.
