A solid sterling silver breakfast or dessert knife in Barnyard Pattern,
(not a full line/not mass production).
Handle decorated with images of a cowboy
and village scene to one side and shepherdess with her herd to other side.

Rare for its pattern and overall condition.

Hallmarked to the blade:
"Lion", "Anchor", "G" - trademark for Gorham Mfg.;
"Sterling" for .925/1000 silver purity.

Made sometime in 1880's.
