These are AR-4x vintage speakers. They have under gone a total rebuild by an AR enthusiast. The cap has been upgraded to film caps.The rheostats have been replaced with wire wound high quality rheostats, not those cheap L-pads. The tweeters have been replaced with newer models. All wiring has been replaced and improved. The cabinets are nice but the finish is good not excellent. Small piece of veneer has been replaced on the bottom of one of the speakers ( see pic). There are no AR badges included. These sound awesome, I think the tweeter is clearer and cleaner, without destroying that AR sound. No ship to PR
