You already have you own HCPC-registered audiologist to conduct the fitting so you don't need us to conduct the fitting for you.

3. Remote Fitting:
After purchase, please send us a copy of your hearing test results (please message us here by selecting the contact seller option). We will then program your hearing aids and send them to you ready to use!

Any Order and subsequent purchase of Goods (as defined below) or services from Hearing Aids Discounted shall be governed by the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully.

THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS DO NOT AFFECT YOUR STATUTORY RIGHTS AS A CONSUMER.

 "We" / "Us" / "Our" refers to Hearing Aids Discounted, "You" / "Yours" refers to the Customer.

By purchasing hearing aids through our ebay store today, you agree to the following terms :

  1. All hearing aid purchases are subject to a no-quibble 60 day full money-back guarantee. A full refund will be made once the instruments have been sent back to our Despatch Centre at the following address: 5 Hoop Lane, London NW11 8JR.

  2. The 60 day money back guarantee starts from the day you receive your instruments at your delivery address.

  3. After making your purchase, your instruments will be dispatched to you within 72 hours, using a Next Day Delivery Service. If there is a delay in this timeline then we will contact you to advise you of the timeline. You may cancel your order for a full refund before they are dispatched to you by contacting us on ebay.


  1. Your instruments will have a 5 year UK guarantee that covers repairs required. Loss and accidental damage are not covered by the guarantee. The guarantee starts from the day of your online purchase. Hearing aid warranty does not cover damage from improper handling or care, exposure to chemicals or undue stress. Damage caused by third parties or non-authorized service centres renders the warranty null and void. This warranty does not include any services performed by a hearing care professional in their office. (In the instance of a hearing aid requiring repair from outside the UK and beyond the international warranty cover, we recommend that the device is posted back to us by insured and tracked post at your own cost. We will happily have the device sent to the manufacturers lab in the UK and ask for the repair to be considered under the 5 year UK warranty. We will then make arrangements for the device to be returned by insured and tracked postage to you at your cost which has to be paid prior to posting.)

  2. You must be over 18 to order instruments from us.

  3. The sole purpose of your purchase is for personal use only and not for competitive research, resale, or any other reason.

  4. By ordering these instruments, you agree to one of the following methods of Hearing Aid Fitting:

I.  By visiting one of our hearing centres, by appointment

Simply bring the instruments unassembled to your appointment. Our HCPC qualified audiologist will assemble the instruments, conduct a full hearing test and then program the instruments for you. We are available for follow up appointments at all participating centres. A further follow up appointment is offered to you free of charge. Additional appointments are charged at £50 per appointment. (Remote appointments are charged at £40 each). There is no charge or handling fees for instruments sent to us for repair.

ii. Fitting by alternative HCPC qualified audiologist

You may prefer to purchase the instruments from us, but then commission an audiologist from another firm to fit the instruments. If you choose this option then you self-certify that your audiologist will be HCPC qualified. If you return to us for professional services, we will charge £50 per face-to-face appointment (or £40 for a remote care appointment). We may require your audiologist’s contact details to advise them of the purchase and confirm their duty within the fitting process.

iii. Remote fitting of hearing aids. 

Your instruments can be fitted remotely. For this option, you need to send us full hearing test results. The test must have been conducted within the last 2 months by an HCPC qualified audiologist. We may need to contact the audiologist to confirm details. If you have not had a hearing test in the last 2 months then please contact us for a list of practices in your area, or a home visiting team that can provide a full hearing test. Once we receive your hearing test results, we will program the hearing aids for you and then send them to you with full instructions.

Once your hearing aids are received, further remote programming/adjusting of the hearing aids is available if required. The first remote follow up appointment is free of charge. Further remote appointments are charged at £40. Face-to-face appointments are available at £50 at participating centres.

By ordering the instruments, you confirm that you do not suffer from any of the following:

i. Excessive ear wax that may be blocking your hearing

ii. Ear Discharge or ear infection.

iii. Pain or earache in either ear

iv. Any medical condition that affects your middle ear.

v. Tinnitus that is troublesome and has not been medically investigated.

vi. A sudden hearing loss in one or both ears that has not been medically investigated.

vii. Noise-induced hearing loss.

viii. Hearing loss in one ear only

ix. Hearing significantly worse in one ear which has not been investigated.

We will email you a medical questionnaire by email to further confirm the above.

8. We will confirm acceptance of your Order via email. Your payment is defined as a “Deposit”. The payment will automatically be considered an “Order” once the hearing aids are fitted by a qualified audiologist using a current hearing test, and after your audiologist confirms that you can be fitted with hearing aids, and that the specific model of hearing aids is suitable for you. If Hearing Aids Discounted or your own HCPC qualified audiologist feels that you are not suitable for the instruments then your “Deposit” will be returned to you in full and Hearing Aids Discounted will not be required to provide any further service to you.

9. We are not liable where incorrect or incomplete information is supplied that impacts on whether your instruments are clinically suitable for your use. Furthermore, they will not be liable in any medical negligence claim where incorrect or insufficient medical information is supplied. 

10. Limitations of Supply and Price

We will make a reasonable effort to ensure that all Orders are fulfilled; however we cannot 100% guarantee the availability of Goods. If the Goods you have ordered are unavailable, we will attempt to contact you to give you a choice to receive an alternative or a refund. If we are unable to contact you, your Order will be cancelled and you will be given a full refund. We will use best endeavours to ensure the accuracy of the prices and price related information stated on the Site. However we cannot guarantee that we will not make a mistake and misprice an item inadvertently. If this is the case, we will notify you of the error before formally accepting your order. You will then have the choice to either accept the correct price or to cancel your Order.

In many countries and especially in the United States and according to the FDA, it is in your best health interest to obtain a professional medical evaluation before purchasing a hearing aid and you are encouraged to do so before purchasing this item. If you choose not to obtain a medical evaluation before purchasing this item, in the United States I am required by law to obtain from you a signed written waiver of the medical evaluation. If you check the terms and conditions box you are indemnifying Hearing Aids Discounted against this particular situation if it arises. You therefore undertake to indemnify and keep us indemnified against any loss, expense, costs, damages or claims arising out of or in connection with any breach of this condition by you.
