The optics are clean, but there is a problem with the focusing dial.
The eyepiece will go up from infinity to close range, but when the dial is turned back, the eyepiece does not automatically drop. It can be lowered manually.
Zooming is not a problem. The internal lens works from telephoto to wide angle depending on the set value.
