Offered here is a rare 1970s Sharp EL-5100S-T scientific calculator. This is one of the earliest calculators to offer in-display text in addition to numerals.  Comes with original box and manuals. I believe this is new old stock, as it appears to have never been used.

Condition:

The calculator itself appears to be unused. Found still inside plastic pouch. I checked the battery compartment and there are no batteries inside. Looks as though none were ever installed. Zero wear. Manuals looks to be nearly perfect apart from some discoloration on the back of one (pictured). Box has lots of surface wear. The LCD screen is clean and unscratched, although I did notice some darkening towards the right side (pictured). I have not tested this calculator to confirm if it is operational.
