Offering a very pretty Ming blue & white bowl from the early 16th Century, Zhengde Period or slightly later. Bowl with good symmetry in decorations, diapered rim, Lingzhi, outside with a border of linked hexagons. Fantastic crackle. Foot rim is intact. Diameter is 5 3/4" x 2 3/4" height. One area of repair to rim with restuck fragments and a few glaze pits in bottom. Thinly potted and translucent. Originally purchased from an antique shop in New England who attributed it to circa 1520 or thereabouts.
