So I walked into Guitar Center a year or so ago and they have this huge bin of guitar necks they bought from some estate deal and i found this one with factory non locking tuners for $99. I snatched it up. Found out when I got home that the truss rod nut was stripped. I was able to remove it and replaced it with a new head and then replugged the hole with a rosewood dowel. The screw holes were hogged out so i drilled them out and plugged them with hardwood dowel. I had this on a home brew Tele body i built and it played fine. The neck isn’t warped or twisted. Frets could use a re-crown and dressing. There were a couple high spots past the 16th fret I used my Stew Mac “fret kisser” on to sort out.

Locking tuners are from a Fender Jeff Beck Signature Stratocaster and are fantastic. The nuts are a little “plier chewed”.

Not a museum piece and because of its adulterated condition it’s sold as “for parts or repair”.

Look at all the photos closely. What you see is what you get. If you need any additional photos, ask what specific photos you want and I’ll take them and add them to the listing.
