First American edition, third printing hardcover copy of Redwall by Brian Jacques (Philomel, 1987). Very rare early printing of this beloved young adult / middle grade fantasy adventure novel, the first in the series of the same name. Jacket is protected in new archival sleeve but with some mild rubbing to faces and shelf wear around the edges - including chipping and a few small tears. Boards are straight and clean but with corners slightly bumped. Binding is firm and spine is straight. All pages are clean and unmarked. See photos for condition.
