Great antique telephone letterhead from the Knudson & Ellsworth Electrical Engineers in New York dated Aug. 7, 1885. Great content stating he was going to the (President) Grant's funeral the following day in NY. The funeral procession was on Aug. 8, 1885. Could the writer of this letter have been Knudson or Ellsworth? They were the inventors of a mechanical telephone patented in 1885. Great graphic of their telephone upper left corner. Measures 8"x 10 1/2". Very good condition. Folds as found. Thanks for your interest in this historical letter.
