Set commemorating the "Little Entente". The stamp depicts St. Vitus Cathedral in Prague.

The Little Entente was an alliance formed in 1920 and 1921 by Czechoslovakia, Romania and Yugoslavia with the purpose of common defence against Hungarian revanchism and the prevention of a Habsburg restoration. France, as a move to contain Germany, initially supported the alliance by signing treaties with each member country. In 1938, France betrayed the alliance and signed the Munich Agreement which gave part of Czechoslovakia to Nazi Germany.
